Master Your Day: Stories and Strategies for Living your Best Life 24 Hours at a Time is a collection life-enhancing time management tools readers can use to maximize their effectiveness each day.  Themes include goal setting and prioritizing, but not merely for the purpose of getting organized.  Rather, the aim is to instill habits and practices that promote a fulfilling, purposeful life of real accomplishment.  This course also includes real life stories from other productive, influential people from all walks of life.   And as my friend and mentor Andy Andrews says, experience is a good teacher, but “Other people’s experiences are the best teachers.”

There are countless books, articles, apps and paper planners designed to improve time management skills.  I have studied and used many of them.  But what I have found over the years is this: there is no “one size fits all” system.

Every person is uniquely wired.  Each of us has a special calling we were designed to fulfill. We are each given a set of circumstances, obligations and expectations within which we must fulfill that calling, and no one else on the planet would be able to fully understand the demands of that calling without walking in our shoes.  When you accept that truth, you can step out confidently, without comparing yourself to others, and face each day head on.  You can also be free to learn, grow and glean from others’ experiences…again, without comparison.

With all of that being said, this course is not going to tell you how to live your life.  Rather, it will offer you ideas and tools.  You get to choose how you implement those ideas and tools into your own life (or not).  It is my firm belief that we can all learn from each other.  So let’s get started, sharing wisdom and life lessons that help us live our best lives.  I’ll go first…
